Celebrate the missed occasions with Guinness during the month-long St. Patrick’s celebration.
KUALA LUMPUR, 4th March 2021: The past year has been very overwhelming, many people missed many different celebrations. Be it birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, graduation ceremonies, or even just gatherings with friends, Malaysians are longing to bring back the missed fun and be part of a celebratory ambiance again. With that notion in mind, Guinness wants to spark little sips of optimism and give everyone a chance to celebrate all last year’s missed occasions this St. Patrick’s month.
Shah Alam, 26 February 2021 – Hoping for a better tomorrow was made possible for 8,000 underprivileged Malaysians following Carlsberg’s pledge of RM1 million through its ‘Celebrate Prosperity, Cheers For Tomorrow’ food aid campaign this festive season. In partnership with theSun, Star Foundation, Yayasan Nanyang Press, The Borneo Post and See Hua Daily News, Carlsberg provided RM500 worth of food supplies to 2,000 families each, whose livelihood were impacted by the COVID-19 and flash floods. Needy individuals from B40 income group, orphans, or family with single parent, and with disabled (OKU) members were prioritised.
SOULed OUT Ampang, one of KL’s most loved F & B outlets, will be moving to a new location. Having brought patrons from around the area 10 years of great food, great vibes and memorable celebrations, the restaurant-bar will be closing its doors at Menara HSC on 28 February 2021 to make way for a new accident & emergency centre to ensure better medical care for the community.
With CNY cheer still up in the air, five lucky winners from across the nation walked away with ‘ONGsome’ RM18,888 cash Ang Pow each. More prizes are still up for grabs until 28th February.
Staying resilient amidst the difficulties faced by the restaurant industry as a whole, SOUL Society’s Group of Restaurants recently came together to spearhead a fundraising campaign for Dignity for Children which managed to raise RM14,560 in funds for the organisation. The NGO which has been operating since 1998, empowers underprivileged and marginalized children to break the cycle of poverty through quality education, positively transforming their lives and the lives of the community around them.
